Default What is your favorite tenkara line?

I have used several different setups. My favorite for bank fishing is a floating line with a mono tippet. I have used braided flouro line for stream fishing recently. It was very effective with a tandem nymph rig. Most of my tenkara fishing is with a line slight longer than the rod length.

    Here is what I've used:

    Rods
    1. Tenkara USA Amago Rod 13.5 ft (made for bigger fish 18 in. and above)
    2. Tenkara USA Iwana Rod 12 ft

    Line
    1. River: Tenkara USA 3.5 Level Pink Fluorocarbon Line w/ Amago Rod
    2. River: Tenkara USA 2.5 Level Orange Fluorocarbon Line w/ Iwana Rod
    3. Lake: UMPQUA Knotless "Red-Hot" 10-Foot Power Taper Leaders (4X)

River Set Up (I've used the Dry Fly and Dropper setup most of the time)
    a. Set the level line length about 3 foot less than length of rod.
    b. Place tippet ring on the end of the level line.
    c. Attach 3 ft of 5X tippet off the tippet ring.
    d. Tie the Dry Fly onto the 5X tippet.
    e. Tie 12" to 18" of 5X off the bend of the dry fly hook.
    f. Attach Dropper Fly to 5X.

    Lake Set Up
    a. Power Taper Leader
    b. Place tippet ring on the end of the leader.
    c. Attach 6 ft of 5X tippet off the tippet ring.
    d. Attach New Zealand Indicator to 6 ft tippet.
    e. Tie a 30 in. dropper tag (4 in. Tag) at end of 6 foot tippet (triple surgeon's knot).
    f. Tie bead head nymph to dropper tag.
    g. Tie bead head nymph to end of 5X dropper.
